We’re thrilled to announce that for the second year in a row, we’ll be offering Sunday ice time at the New Ulm Civic Center!
Starting in June and running through September, if your child is registered with our association for the 2025-2026 season, they can enjoy an hour of ice time each week. This is a fantastic opportunity for your young hockey stars to keep honing their skills and have a blast on the ice. Don’t miss out on this chance for fun, growth, and plenty of hockey action!
• Register by June 1st: Start attending coach-led skill sessions in June
• Register by July 1st: Jump into the sessions starting in July
• Register by September 1st: Hit the ice with us in September
This summer our players can build on what they’ve learned during this season and take their game to the next level with a fantastic line-up of coaches, including:
• Matt Hussey: Former NHL player
• Danny Heath: Game 7 instructor
• Jordan Neduzak: Director of FYHA hockey
• Kyle Looft: Current player for the Stars AHL team
• MSU Hockey Players: Bringing their collegiate experience to the ice
Plus, we’re planning to have specialized goalie instructors to help our aspiring goalies sharpen their skills!
Stay tuned for more information once you’ve registered. We can’t wait to see your young athletes on the ice!

What are Work Hours?
Concessions Hours, Tournament Work Hours & Team Work Hours are included as part of the fee structure in order to reduce the cost of registration to play hockey in the Fairmont Youth Hockey Association. Simply put, work hours are the time you volunteer for the association in many aspects- concession stand work, scorer, penalty box attendant, etc. Your time is greatly appreciated!
Watch for trainings on individual Dib items. Don't hesitate to ask any questions about Work Hours!
