Self Nominations Open NOW - March 8th

Election shall be by majority vote by Google form open from March 9-March 15th.  

Each season the Fairmont Youth Hockey Association presents the “Hero of Hockey” award to a pioneer of Hockey in our area. This winning recipient shows dedication and passion and  contributes immeasurable amounts of time and hard work, in order to grow our program to where it is today. Undoubtedly, every past, present and future player and coach in our association will have been positively impacted by the dedication of our “Heroes of Hockey” recipients.

Please submit nominations for the 2025-2026 “Hero of Hockey” Award by March 8th to be recognized at our Annual Banquet on March 22nd.

Travel: Please use your discretion for all travel-related events.

Practices: FYHA will follow the National Weather Service. If Martin County is under a Winter Weather Warning or Blizzard Warning during a scheduled practice, all practices will be canceled.

Games: Game cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis. District games must include the District President in the decision.

Communication:

• Players/parents will be notified by their coach or team coordinator.
